The festival starts at 14:00 and ends at 23:00 CET. Keep in mind that the doors close at 21:00.

Age and ID

Answer

The festival is 18+, and it is mandatory to present a valid ID (driver's license, passport, identification card, ID) for entry. Just a photo of any of the above will not suffice.

Re-entry

Answer

It's not possible to leave the festival grounds and re-enter afterwards. If you do leave you will have to show a valid ticket again to enter the festival grounds. 

Door closure

The doors will close at 21:00 CET, and entry will not be permitted after that time.

Cash purchases

Answer

All facilities are cashless, but you can purchase a cash card at the festival at dedicated cash card lockets. This is a debit card that you buy at the token stand and load with cash, allowing you to make payments with a card at the festival

Medical personnel

Earplugs

There are Alpine earplugs available for purchase.

Prohibited items

Answer

These items are prohibited to bring to the festival: own food and drinks, aerosol cans, glassware, cans, large or heavy bags (a light (back)pack or small backpack is allowed but will be checked by security at the entrance), pets, inflatable objects, umbrellas, drugs (except prescribed medication with a medical certificate), selfie sticks, fireworks, weapons and firearms, dangerous objects (including aerosol cans and tear gas), professional photo, film, and other recording equipment.

Cameras

It is not allowed to bring any sort of professional recording equipment. Small cameras are aloud.

Sunscreen

Sunscreen is only allowed in unopened pocket size packaging. Sunscreen sprays are not allowed (in any size).

Purchase tickets

General access tickets are completely sold out. A few VIP standing tickets are still left. Join the waitlist to be notified first if tickets become available.

Download issue

Due to late personalization, tickets can only be downloaded on 4th and 5th of July 2025.

Receive ticket

Answer

You will receive an email immediately upon purchasing your ticket. The ticket can be downloaded on 4th and 5th of July 2025.

Lost ticket

Answer

If you cannot find your tickets in your mailbox, try retrieving them through Eventix (https://eventix.io/search). If this doesn’t work, please contact info@sonaworldwide.com. In your email, please include the full name used during the ticket purchase along with your email address. We will then promptly assist you in resolving the matter.

Print ticket

Answer

It is not necessary to print out your ticket. In fact, we prefer tickets on the phone.

Personalize ticket

Answer

You can personalize your ticket through the confirmation email. If you can't find it, please proceed to question 4.

THE EVENT IS SOLD OUT, HOW CAN I GET A TICKET?

Unfortunately if the event is sold out, it is not possible to purchase tickets through Weeztix our ticketing platform. You can visit Tixel to join the waitlist, pre-authorise your card or safely purchase a resale ticket.

Setting Up an auto-purchase on tixel

Answer

To give yourself the best chance of getting a ticket you can set up an auto-purchase on Tixel by clicking ‘join the waitlist’ then ‘set up auto-purchase’. Select the ticket you want, the quantity and then the price you are willing to pay up to a maximum of 20% above the original face value. If another fan lists a ticket, you'll automatically purchase it if your price matches theirs. You can choose when your auto-purchase expires, and your card won't be charged after that.

Can i cancel my ticket?

It is not possible to cancel your tickets, however, you can sell them safely and securely through our official resale partner Tixel.

WHY DOES SONA HAVE 'SEALED TICKETS'?

Answer

SONA uses sealed tickets to ensure a fairer ticketing experience for everyone. These tickets cannot be resold through unofficial channels or secondary markets, effectively preventing scams. All ticket resales must go through our verified partner, Tixel. Thanks to Tixel's integration with Weeztix, each resold ticket is exchanged for a brand-new one - guaranteeing 100% entry to the event for the buyer. Additionally, sellers on Tixel are capped at a maximum resale price of 120% of the original value, ensuring tickets remain affordable and fair.

Is it possible to resell my 'sealed tickets'?

If you decide to sell your ticket, it is only possible to do so through our verified partner ‘‘Tixel’‘. You need your confirmation email to view your order. At the bottom of your order you will find a blue button, click the button to resell the tickets on Tixel. This is the only way you can resell your tickets. After selling, you can no longer use the ticket as it will be declared invalid.

The festival is easily accessible by bike. We ask all visitors to come by bike.

Please, keep in mind that as the festival takes place in Amsterdam there will be no parking facilities near the festival. Cars will be blocked around the festival terrain.

Drinking water

There are multiple drinking water stations to refill your bottle and water bottles can be purchased at the bar.

cigarettes

There will be no (e-)cigarettes available for purchase.

medications

Answer

You can bring your medication only upon presentation of a prescription and/or a doctors note. The medication must be unopened.

Wheelchair access

Answer

The festival is wheelchair accessible, featuring special toilets and entrances. Wheelchair access is through the general entrance. Keep in mind that the terrain consists out of grass mostly. No prior registration is required.

Service dogs

Unfortunately it's not possible to bring along a service dog.

We are committed to sustainability to preserve the park. We use recycled plastic cups, operate a recycling system, accept only card payments, and offer different food possibilities.

inclusivity

We strive to create a safe and welcoming festival environment for everyone. All social norms and values are upheld on the premises. Any form of threats, violence, discrimination, or sexual harassment will not be tolerated.

lockers

Answer

Lockers will be available. You can purchase a locker in advance, and we will send an email with a link to all ticket holders once they are available. At the festival, you can also buy a locker using QR-codes and payment methods like iDEAL. Additionally, there will be an information point for lockers at the festival.

Neighbour information

Answer

Ten days before the event, residents within the municipality's distribution area will receive a neighborhood letter. The letter will contain information about park accessibility and the opportunity to register for a chance to win residents' tickets for the festival. We will also host a tour and several activities for our neighbours. More on this will be added later in this FAQ.
